There are many people using Linux Operating system for their computer. The advantage that can be picked from Linux usage is not only some money that we can save but also features that included in Linux has almost same ability with the other Operating System in market.

In deciding which Linux we want to choose there are four consideration that we can use:

1.Why we choose Linux for our computer Operating System?

Every Linux distro is free available and we can install them in our PC freely as many as possible. This Operating system also has included with many important applications.
Like OpenOffice.org which has good ability for word editing and counting. Then if you want to edit image you can use Gimp which nice too to be used

Not only this some windows application also can be run in Linux through Wine. Like Linux server Application, it can be Apache Web Server and MySQL for database that also can be used by businessman. In Linux also available a networking software, Samba which also has quality as good as other paid networking software. It also need to known that Linux is not attached by virus as often as the others.

2. Choosing Linux Distro

There are many Linux Distro in market with the differences include in each distro. This difference can be the easy in use and also the feature which are included in each. For example Ubuntu ad Fedora which both of them are easy to be used. If you are new in Linux usage, Puppy Linux with small size can be your choice.

3. How about Support?

We can use some support for solving our problem during using Linux. You might asked to pay, but it is cheap cost. You also can use guidebook that can be found easily in everywhere.

4. Cost Estimation

The other that you need to decide is Cost estimation. It is right that Linux is free and just the support need to be paid, but if you want your worker easy in using Linux you have to open your wallet in order to do the efforts, like training for Linux usage.
